Care

Elderly Caregiver Supply, Office to Office | Adey Agency

This is our most conservatively screened category. Candidates need either prior caregiving experience or a demonstrated aptitude assessed during a structured interview, and we turn away more applicants here than in any other segment, since basic patient-handling cannot be built from zero in a short pre-departure window.

Training is delivered by staff with a caregiving or nursing-adjacent background, and covers safe mobility assistance, basic hygiene support, and recognising when a situation needs to be escalated beyond a caregiver's scope. Candidates are also assessed for temperament, since this role demands more patience under pressure than most.

What to expect from this workforce segment

  • A smaller, more carefully vetted pool than our other categories, which typically means a longer lead time
  • Trained in safe transfers, positioning, and fall prevention rather than general housekeeping tasks
  • Best matched when your demand letter specifies the care recipient's mobility level and any condition-specific needs
  • Not a substitute for skilled nursing care; candidates provide daily-living support, not medical treatment
